- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, sliced
- Capers - 1 tablespoon, rinsed and drained
Steps
- In a food processor, add the swordfish fillet and pulse until finely minced.
- Transfer the minced swordfish to a mixing bowl and add almond flour, egg, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equally sized patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the swordfish patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
