Ingredients

  • Wild boar ground meat - 250 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 30 grams
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 20 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Arugula - 50 grams
  • Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
  • Red onion, thinly sliced - 1/4

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground wild boar meat, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 equal patties, ensuring they are compact.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 70°C).
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate pan or oven until lightly golden.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the bottom half of each bun. Top with arugula, sliced tomatoes, and red onions. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately with a side of your choice.
