  • Fresh basil, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Oats, ground - 50 grams
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Whole grain buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato, sliced - 1

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, cooked quinoa, chickpeas, minced garlic, parsley, basil, olive oil, ground oats, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Mash the mixture lightly with a fork until it holds together but still has some texture.
  3. Form the mixture into two equal burger patties.
