- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Heavy cream - 100 milliliters
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Truffle oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, truffle oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Once the fettuccine is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and add it directly to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a smoother consistency.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
