- Ground beef - 150 grams
- Ground pork - 100 grams
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 50 grams
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and pork to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked meat, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, and the egg. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Lay out the fresh pasta sheets on a clean surface. Cut them into squares, about 10 cm x 10 cm.
- Place a tablespoon of the meat mixture in the center of each pasta square. Fold the pasta over to form a triangle and press the edges to seal tightly.
- Grease a baking dish with the remaining olive oil and spread a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom.
- Arrange the sealed fagottini in the baking dish, then cover them with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
