Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1 cm thick slices.
  3. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush one side with olive oil.
  4. Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  6. Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and spread the garlic-parsley mixture on the toasted side.
  7. Top each slice with a fillet of salted anchovy.
  8. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve immediately.
