  • Vegetable broth - 100 ml
  • Red chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Wash the chicory thoroughly to remove any dirt and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped chicory to the skillet and stir well to coat with the garlic oil. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicory is wilted and tender.
  4. Stir in the drained cannellini beans, vegetable broth, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for another 5-10 minutes until the beans are heated through.
