- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, shaved (optional for serving)
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- While the grill is heating, rinse the chicory under cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (if using).
- Toss the chicory in the oil and seasoning mixture until well-coated.
- Once the grill is hot, place the chicory on the grill grates. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the leaves are tender and have nice grill marks.
