  • Almond milk - 300 milliliters
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds) - 30 grams
  • Fresh seasonal fruits (berries, banana) - 150 grams
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Chia seeds - 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Pinch of salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, quinoa, almond milk, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the grains are cooked and the mixture is creamy.
  3. In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the honey, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken.
