Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 2-3 mm thickness.
- Cut the dough into diamond shapes or strips, making small slits in the center of each piece.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
