  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional)

Steps

  1. Remove the outer leaves of the white cabbage and cut it into quarters, removing the core.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket over it.
  3. Add the cabbage quarters to the steamer basket and cover with a lid. Steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
  4. While the cabbage is steaming, heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Once the cabbage is ready, carefully remove it from the steamer and transfer to a serving dish.
  6. Drizzle the garlic oil over the steamed cabbage, then squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
  7. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
