Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 medium head (about 600g)
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into thick slices, about 2-3 cm each, creating 'steaks'.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Place the cauliflower steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
  6. Once grilled, remove the cauliflower from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the grilled cauliflower with chopped parsley before serving.
