- Halal ground beef - 300 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ciabatta buns - 2
- Fresh mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, sliced
- Ripe tomatoes - 1 medium, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves - 10
- Balsamic glaze - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the halal ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, slice the ciabatta buns in half and lightly toast them on a separate skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.
- Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of fresh mozzarella on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese for about 1 minute.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cheesy patty on the bottom half of the toasted ciabatta bun. Top with slices of ripe tomato, fresh basil leaves, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
- Cover with the top half of the ciabatta bun and serve immediately.
