Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and sliced almonds.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a log about 2 inches wide and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Slice the log into 1 cm thick pieces and place them back on the baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake for another 10 minutes until the biscotti are golden and crisp.
- While the biscotti cool, prepare the cappuccino by brewing the espresso and frothing the milk.
- Combine the espresso with hot water and add the frothed milk on top. Sweeten with sugar to taste.
- Serve the cappuccino hot alongside the freshly baked biscotti, dusted with powdered sugar.
