  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Tomatoes - 400 grams, diced (canned or fresh)
  • Fish stock - 300 ml
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - to taste

  5. Add the shrimp to the pot and simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Season the stew with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Stir in the chopped parsley and basil just before serving.
  7. Ladle the Cacciucco di Gamberi into bowls and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.
