- Vegetable broth - 500 milliliters
- Diced tomatoes - 200 grams, canned
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - to taste
- Red chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the sliced Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the sausage from the pot and set aside, leaving the drippings.
