Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 250 grams
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
  • Chopped fresh basil - 10 grams
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 10 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Sliced tomatoes - 1 medium
  • Sliced red onion - 1/4 medium
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the salad by layering the romaine lettuce leaves on plates. Top with sliced tomatoes and red onions.
  5. Once the patties are done, place each one on top of the prepared salad. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving.
