Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Red wine - 50 ml
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 small, sliced
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, red wine, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the balsamic sauce by mixing balsamic vinegar with a little olive oil and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion. Drizzle the balsamic sauce on top before closing with the bun lid.
