- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Yellow bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful, chopped

Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then form into two patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and add the sliced onions and bell peppers.
- Sauté the vegetables for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are soft and caramelized.
- Stir in the balsamic vinegar and chopped basil, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet or on a grill.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping it generously with the peperonata mixture.
