  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Ripe tomatoes, sliced - 1 medium
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 pieces
  • Olive tapenade - 50 grams

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped olives, basil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
