- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Zucchini, sliced - 100 grams
- Cherry tomatoes, halved - 100 grams
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two burger patties, about 2.5 cm thick.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, make the basil pesto by blending fresh basil leaves, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, add the zucchini slices and cherry tomatoes to the grill, cooking until they're slightly charred and tender.
- Serve the burgers topped with a generous spoonful of basil pesto and the grilled zucchini and tomatoes on the side.
