- Ground beef - 400 grams (80% lean)
- Truffle oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mascarpone cheese - 100 grams
- Fresh basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Arugula - 50 grams
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, truffle oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, in a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with chopped basil and a pinch of salt.
- Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble, place a patty on a plate, top with a generous dollop of the mascarpone mixture, and add some arugula and cherry tomatoes on the side.
- Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the arugula and tomatoes before serving.
