Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams (80% lean)
  • Truffle oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Mascarpone cheese - 100 grams
  • Fresh basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Arugula - 50 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, truffle oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, in a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with chopped basil and a pinch of salt.
  5. Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To assemble, place a patty on a plate, top with a generous dollop of the mascarpone mixture, and add some arugula and cherry tomatoes on the side.
  7. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the arugula and tomatoes before serving.
