- Zucchini - 100 grams, grated
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Fresh basil - 5 grams, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated zucchini, grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the turkey patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the patties are golden brown.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the burgers garnished with fresh chopped basil.
