  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 50 grams, sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped basil, chopped oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast in half horizontally to create two thinner pieces and add them to the marinade. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  5. While the chicken is grilling, toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a grilled chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun, adding a slice of mozzarella, a slice of tomato, and a lettuce leaf before topping with the other half of the bun.
