Ingredients

  • Ground halal beef - 500 grams
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground halal beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into 2 equal patties.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the bruschetta topping. Chop the cherry tomatoes and finely mince the garlic. In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of fresh mozzarella on each patty. Cover the grill or skillet for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty with melted mozzarella on the bottom half of the bun. Top generously with the bruschetta mixture, then cover with the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Bruschetta Burger!
