  • Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the cooked broccoli to the skillet, along with the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine and adjust seasoning if needed.
