- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drain the broccoli and immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then drain again.
