Ingredients

  • Brisket - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable broth - 100 ml
  • Grilled vegetables (zucchini, bell peppers) - 200 grams

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create a marinade.
  2. Place the brisket in a large resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the brisket from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  5. Grill the brisket for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until a nice crust forms and it reaches your desired doneness (medium-rare is approximately 57°C).
  6. While grilling, pour the vegetable broth over the brisket to keep it moist.
  7. Remove the brisket from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the sliced brisket with grilled vegetables on the side.
