Ingredients

  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated

  • Fresh basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved (for topping)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the ricotta mixture into a small baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  4. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the ricotta mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and slightly puffed.
