- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Cherry tomatoes - 400 grams, halved
- Black olives - 100 grams, pitted and chopped
- Capers - 1 tablespoon, rinsed
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste

Steps
- Soak the salt cod in cold water for 24-48 hours, changing the water regularly to remove excess salt.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until soft and translucent.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to break down.
- Stir in the chopped olives, capers, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Drain the soaked cod and pat it dry. Cut it into serving pieces and gently add it to the skillet with the tomato mixture.
- Cover the skillet and simmer for about 20 minutes, turning the cod occasionally to ensure it cooks evenly.
- Once the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
