- Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans) - 1/4 cup (30g)
- Fresh fruits (banana, apple, or berries) - 1/2 cup (75g)
- Honey or maple syrup (optional) - 1 tbsp
Steps
- Rinse the wild rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium pot, combine the rinsed wild rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30-35 minutes or until the wild rice is tender and opened.
