- Arrowroot powder - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

- Ground wild game meat (deer, elk, or bison) - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
- Zucchini - 1 small, diced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, arrowroot powder, salt, egg, and olive oil. Mix well until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to your desired thickness (about 5 mm). Cut into two flatbreads and place on a baking sheet.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground wild game meat to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced red bell pepper, zucchini, cumin, and paprika. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat and mix in cilantro and lime juice.
- Spread the wild game mixture evenly over the prepared flatbreads.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
