Ingredients

  • Ground venison - 250 grams
  • Ghee - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
  • Spinach - 100 grams, fresh
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat ghee in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground venison to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the diced green bell pepper, chopped tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, stirring until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
