Ingredients

  • Venison ground meat - 400 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons for cooking

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground venison, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture.
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
  4. Heat the coconut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden-brown crust.
  6. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
