Ingredients
- Spring roll wrappers - 8 pieces
- Carrot - 100 grams, julienned
- Cabbage - 100 grams, finely shredded
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Green beans - 50 grams, chopped
- Onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Oil - for frying (about 1 cup)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the julienned carrot, shredded cabbage, sliced bell pepper, chopped green beans, and chopped onion.
- Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper to the vegetables. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
- Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a clean, flat surface with one corner facing you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable mixture onto the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold the sides inward and roll it up tightly to enclose the filling. Seal the edge with a little water.
- Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the spring rolls in batches, frying until they are golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- Remove the spring rolls from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
