Ingredients

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes - 100 grams
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Oil - for brushing

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, mashed potatoes, and chopped coriander leaves.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt to the vegetable mixture and mix well until combined.
  3. Gradually add breadcrumbs to the mixture until it holds together well and can be shaped.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, pressing firmly to ensure it sticks.
  5. Preheat a grill or oven to medium-high heat and lightly brush the skewers with oil.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them cool slightly before serving.
