Steps
- Wash all the vegetables thoroughly under running water.
- Finely chop the cucumber, tomato, and onion, and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Grate the carrot and add it to the bowl.
- Finely chop the green chili and add it to the mixture.
- Add chopped cilantro to the bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chat masala if using.
- Pour the dressing over the chopped vegetables and toss gently to combine.
- Let the kachumber sit for about 5 minutes for the flavors to meld before serving.
