  • Carrot (diced) - 1 small
  • Green bell pepper (diced) - 1 small
  • Green peas (fresh or frozen) - 1/2 cup
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the grated ginger and minced garlic, cooking for another minute until aromatic.

  7. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps and mixing well with the vegetables.
  8. Pour in the soy sauce, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine evenly.
  9. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the rice to heat through.
  10. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
