- Green peas - 50 grams
- Onion - 50 grams
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Rice flour - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Oil - for frying
Steps
- Boil the potatoes and carrots until soft, then peel and mash them in a bowl.
- Add the boiled green peas, finely chopped onion, green chili, grated ginger, and chopped coriander leaves to the mashed mixture.
- Sprinkle in cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper, mixing everything well until combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties (about 8 pieces) and coat each patty in rice flour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.
