  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
