- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Plant-based yogurt - 100 grams
- Water - 60-80 ml
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the plant-based yogurt and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add water, a little at a time, and knead the mixture into a soft, elastic dough.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
- On a floured surface, roll out each ball into an oval shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place one naan in the skillet.
- Cook for about 1-2 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat for the remaining naan, adding minced garlic on top while cooking for extra flavor.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
