- Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green chilies - 1, finely chopped (optional)
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Vegan yogurt - 150 grams
- Sweet tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Green chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Pomegranate seeds - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed boiled potatoes, chickpeas, chopped red onion, coriander, green chilies (if using), chaat masala, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Prepare the vegan yogurt by whisking it until smooth. You can add a pinch of salt and a little lemon juice for extra flavor if desired.
- To assemble the Dahi Puri, take a puri and gently crack the top to create an opening.
- Fill each puri with a spoonful of the potato and chickpea mixture.
- Drizzle the prepared vegan yogurt generously over the filled puris.
- Add a spoonful of sweet tamarind chutney and green chutney on top of the yogurt.
