Ingredients
- Potatoes - 300 grams
- Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Red onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Vegan yogurt - 100 grams
- Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) - 30 grams
Steps
- Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into small cubes.
- In a pot of boiling water, add the potato cubes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, cooked chickpeas, cumin powder, chaat masala, red onion, green chili, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to combine.
- To serve, take a plate and layer the potato-chickpea mix. Drizzle tamarind chutney and vegan yogurt over the top.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and a generous sprinkle of sev for that added crunch.
