Ingredients

  • fresh tuna fillet - 200 grams
  • avocado - 1 medium
  • lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • green chili - 1 small, finely chopped
  • coconut aminos - 1 tablespoon
  • sea salt - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Start by finely dicing the fresh tuna fillet into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the grated ginger, chopped green chili, and chopped coriander leaves to the bowl with the tuna.
  3. Drizzle the lime juice and coconut aminos over the mixture, and season with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Gently toss the ingredients together until well combined and set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes.
  5. While the tuna is marinating, peel and dice the avocado into small cubes.
  6. To serve, layer the avocado cubes on the bottom of serving plates and top with the tuna tartare mixture.
  7. Garnish with additional coriander leaves and a lime wedge if desired, then serve immediately.
