- fresh tuna fillet - 200 grams
- avocado - 1 medium
- lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- green chili - 1 small, finely chopped
- coconut aminos - 1 tablespoon
- sea salt - to taste
- black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Start by finely dicing the fresh tuna fillet into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the grated ginger, chopped green chili, and chopped coriander leaves to the bowl with the tuna.
- Drizzle the lime juice and coconut aminos over the mixture, and season with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
- Gently toss the ingredients together until well combined and set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes.
- While the tuna is marinating, peel and dice the avocado into small cubes.
- To serve, layer the avocado cubes on the bottom of serving plates and top with the tuna tartare mixture.
- Garnish with additional coriander leaves and a lime wedge if desired, then serve immediately.
