- Jowar flour - 100 grams
- Rice flour - 50 grams
- Besan (gram flour) - 30 grams
- Chopped spinach - 50 grams
- Chopped onion - 30 grams
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Green chili - 1 finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon grated
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Water - as needed
- Oil - for cooking
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine jowar flour, rice flour, besan, chopped spinach, chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chili, ginger, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, kneading until you form a smooth, pliable dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- On a flat surface, place a parchment paper and flatten each ball into a circle, about 5-6 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick tava or skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
- Carefully place the flattened dough onto the hot tava and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, applying a little oil until golden brown and crisp.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough portions.
- Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
