- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon

- Water - as needed

Steps
- Soak the green gram and rice together in water for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Drain the soaked ingredients and transfer them to a blender.
- Add ginger, green chilies, cumin seeds, and salt to the blender.
- Blend everything into a smooth batter, adding water as needed to achieve a pancake-like consistency.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat and drizzle a little oil.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet, spreading it into a circular shape.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the edges turn golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes until crispy.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- Serve hot with ginger chutney or any chutney of your choice.
