Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the grill is hot, thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly charred.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the tandoori shrimp garnished with chopped cilantro and lemon wedges on the side.
