Ingredients
- Baby potatoes - 400 grams
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cilantro - for garnish
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash and scrub the baby potatoes well, then boil them in salted water for about 10-15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, ground cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the boiled potatoes to the marinade and toss gently until they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated potatoes onto skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning).
- Brush the skewers with olive oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until they are slightly charred and heated through.
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve warm.
