Ingredients
- Paneer - 200 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole wheat tortillas or naan - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Onion - 1/2, sliced
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to create the marinade.
- Cut the paneer into cubes and add to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated paneer cubes and grill for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and slightly charred.
- While the paneer is grilling, prepare the tortillas or naan by warming them on a pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once the paneer is done, assemble the wraps by placing grilled paneer in the center of each tortilla or naan. Top with sliced cucumber, tomato, onion, and chopped cilantro.
- Sprinkle chaat masala on top for extra flavor if desired, then fold the wrap tightly and serve immediately.
