Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 100 grams, cubed
  • Onion - 1 medium, cubed
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • Cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt to make the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the paneer cubes and mix gently until all pieces are well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat (around 200°C or 400°F).
  5. Thread the marinated paneer cubes, bell pepper cubes, and onion pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers alternately.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are slightly charred and cooked through.
  7. Remove from heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
